Deactivation of SARS-CoV-2 via Shielding of Spike Glycoprotein Using Carbon Quantum Dots: Bioinformatic Perspective

چکیده
The interaction of the spike (S) glycoprotein SARS-CoV-2 with angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) correlates increased virus transmissibility and disease severity in humans. Two strategies may be considered for preventive or treatment purposes: blockage ACE2 receptors shielding receptor-binding domains (RBD) Sprotein COVID-19, as well S2 cleavage site that is used by furin host cells late phase activation. Herein, carbon quantum dots (CQDs) was investigated using molecular docking dynamics. CQD molecules were optimized HF/3-21G level theory; probable interactions between CQDs studied blind mode, considering receptor ligands. Ethanol, folic acid, Favipiravir, two kinds functionalized triangular hexagonal graphene, four on a comparative basis. results show OH amine-functionalized tend to interact three branches Sprotein, especially RBD. fact they can block leads their potential use therapeutic agent.

a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
Significant redox insensitivity of the functions of the SARS-CoV spike glycoprotein: comparison with HIV envelope.
The capacity of the surface glycoproteins of enveloped viruses to mediate virus/cell binding and membrane fusion requires a proper thiol/disulfide balance. Chemical manipulation of their redox state using reducing agents or free sulfhydryl reagents affects virus/cell interaction. Conversely, natural thiol/disulfide rearrangements often occur during the cell interaction to trigger fusogenicity, ...
متن کاملCharacterization of severe acute respiratory syndrome-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV) spike glycoprotein-mediated viral entry.
Severe acute respiratory syndrome-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV) is a rapidly emerging pathogen with potentially serious consequences for public health. Here we describe conditions that result not only in the efficient expression of the SARS-CoV spike (S) protein on the surface of cells, but in its incorporation into lentiviral particles that can be used to transduce cells in an S glycoprote...
متن کاملAntimyogenic Effect of SARS-CoV Spike Protein in C2C12 Myoblasts
C2C12 myoblasts serve as well-established model system to study myogenesis, as they fuse to form multinucleated myotubes. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS–CoV) spike (S) protein plays a crucial role in viral entry. Exogenous expression of S protein in C2C12 myoblasts inhibits the formation of myotubes. Global changes in gene expression were studied in C2C12 cells expressing S...
